This is a very rare demonstration as use of the fighting collander was and is generally considered a closely held art in Japan.
 
It is unfortunate that the demonstration is incomplete: in a complete demonstration of the art, after dispatching his enemy, the collander wielding warrior is supposed to build a fire, cook noodles and drain them using his collander and knife, all the while contemplating the impermanence of life as evidenced by the corpse of his erstwhile oponent.
 
Truly an arcane and esoteric art of old Japan.
