backcountryski list is a group of like-minded Colorado skiers. The purpose of the list is
to organize trips (including hikes in the summer) and to disseminate relevant information
such as avalanche warnings, gear sales etc. Anyone on the list can post a trip and
arrange how the trip will be organized. The poster can be the trip leader, or the trip can
just be a group of friends going out to have fun. Avalanche safety should be of
prime importance if you want to participate in group trips.
