For those planning to attend the 4th party at the boathouse on Saturday, a few
things to keep in mind...

1) The Scull and Sweep Room will not be completely finished - there is about a
week or two left worth of work to complete the room. We will have access to
most of the room as well as the deck but we will not have any appliances or
sinks installed yet. That said, the room right now looks dramatically better.

2) This is a BYOB event, we will not have any beer or wine available - we do not
have much in the way right now to handle Beer and Wine.

3) This is a pot luck event - people are encouraged to bring snacks, deserts or
a side dish to share.

4) At the boathouse, we are providing hamburgers, vegi burgers, hot dogs, soft
drinks, paper plates, cups, napkins, and disposable silverware.

5) If you wish to partake of the boathouse supplied drinks and food, donations
are appreciated to help defray the costs of soda, hamburgers, hot dogs and other
supplies.

6) Please RSVP to Bob O'Malley's E-vite - we do not want to run out of supplies
and the purpose of the E-vite is only to get a rough headcount so that we have
adequate supplies.

7) Please be vigilent around the seawall and the dock for your own safety - the
dock is uneven and has a large gap between the ramp and the floating section.
If you are bringing young children, please be vigilent with your kids and not
let them out of your sight because of the risks of falling into the river are
very real.

8) No Smoking on the boathouse grounds - only on the Kelly Drive sidewalk in
front of the boathouse please make this clear to visiters at the boathouse who
may not be familiar with this policy. We have a gasoline shed on premise and we
do not want to start our own fireworks!

9) Pitch in and help this event - members of the social committee are organizing
the party but it is important that everyone pitches in where needed to help with
set up, managing the party and most importantly, tear down. This party is a
team event!

10) If you bring guests, please make sure that they are aware of the items
listed above as well as general safety and other practices around the boathouse.

11) Do not forget the Bachelors Shuttle - a great way to get to the boathouse.
