Structural steel was delivered by crane for renovations in the Scull and Sweep
room this week. The steel will replace the partition walls in the Scull and
Sweep Room that hold up the erg room floor.

Next week, most likely Wednesday, foundation work will begin in the boat bays to
install two pilings. This will mean that a number of boats and oar racks
located in the middle of the boat bay will need to be moved. The work is
expected to be completed in about a week.

A temporary fence has been set up in the side yard between Bachelors and
University to relocate some boats and other equipment. Equipment will be moved
over the next 4 days. I do not think this will affect any private boats or oars
but we will keep you posted.

After this foundation project is complete, most of the remaining work will be
located in the Scull and Sweep room.

We do not expect any major disruptions in rowing activities just some
inconveniences as we work around the construction.
