of Almaden EXPWY) When Alamden Expressway(not Almaden Way) ends,
that is Harry, Turn left and proceed approx 1/4 mi. to the concrete
bridge.
The NOAA weather report is :
FRIDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY... HIGHS LOWER TO MID 60S... NORTHWEST
AFTERNOON WIND 10 TO 20 MPH.
FRIDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR... LOWS 40S AND LOWER 50S...WARMEST IN
THE HILLS.
SATURDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY...HIGHS LOWER TO MID 60S
The breezy sunshine should do well to put a bit of a dry surface for
the Sticky Glop that is Santa Teresa. But the shady portions of Mine
Hill Rd. in Alamden quicksilver may be a little sticky. I've never
rode the south portion of Sierra Azul and thus it is an unknown. I
will have a basic outline of the route to follow available.
This is a self supported unsanctioned, unsupported ride Stopping
infrequently. Ride at your own pace, Enjoy the beautiful weather and
Have Fun.
I'm kitting out with a couple of Myoplex bars, A shell, leg warmers,
Hammer gel, energy drink, and about 70oz. of water. A few bucks for
coffee in LG and thats about it.
Hope to see some folks out to enjoy.
