Hi,
Just got this from the AZ HBPA thru the Arizona Quarter Racing Association
people. It would appear to behoove those of us involved in racing/breeding in
the Grand Canyon State to look this over and probably support the heck out of it
to Governor Napalitano. I have not read it (YET), but thought I should pass it
on, because time is of the essence.

In the meantime, I called the State Senator's office who wrote the bill and his
aide says it made it through the House and will be coming back to the Senate
within the week, probably be voted on next week and go the Governor before the
end of the month. If I understood her description of the amendments to the
bill, we would actually get more racing days.

The biggest issue I can see is getting it past our governor. Speaking
of.....getting to the feedback site may be harder than clicking on the link
below. You may have to do the following:

1) Go to webpage http://www.governor.state.az.us/
2) Click on the "Contact the Governor" link on the left side of the page
underneath "Find By Category".
3) Near the bottom of the main frame you should see "Click here to send E-mail
to Governor Napolitano"
4) Click on this sentence and it should take you to an online submission of your
comments.
