looking for a horse to lease in AZ   Message List

Hi groups, once again I am posting to try to find a horse to lease. I had
one all lined up after looking at a few and he hurt himself before we could
bring him home and is no longer ridable. I was really bummed.
Anyhow, we are in southern Arizona and are looking in this area only.
I am trying to find a horse to do a feed/care lease at my home. I have 2
horses of my own. I just bought my son another horse this year and I can't aff
ord to buy another one just yet. I have lots of experience with horses having
worked in the horse field for 20 + years. I have ridden, taken care of and
trained on race tracks, farms and ranches. I can provide references if needed to
verify my ability to care for horses.
If the horse we find works out over time I might be able to purchase at a
later date.
I am looking for either mare or gelding, over 14 hands and under 16 years of
age. No major health problems. Green broke is okay, but not looking for a
bronc. Quarter Horse or Quarter type or cross, Thoroughbred or TB cross, or
Paint. Sane in mind and body.
I don't want to lease for money, since the care of a horse can be pricey
enough and I am not looking for a horse that I have to pay insurance on.
I am not looking for an expensive, flashy show horse, but a good horse that
I can ride trails on and maybe be able to do some gymkhanas and some cattle
work on. We ride as much as we can which can be 4 - 5 days a week. Getting in a
trailer is a must as we do a lot of trailering.
I am willing to sign a contract for 6 months to a year if needed as long as
both parties can agree on conditions.
This might sound like a lot of wants, but in reality it isn't all that much
to ask for.
If anyone has a horse like this or knows someone who has one please let me
know privately.
Thanks,

Cindy in Arizona &
Chance & Cassidy the Mustang Girls
