An official congratulations goes out
to all the hard working volunteers of the Athens Disc Golf Club! You
are the official winners of the GRPA (Georgia Rec and Parks Association)
State and Outdoor "Volunteer of the Year"! An award
is being presented to ACC this week at the conference in Savannah and will
be presented to the Disc Golf Club at the Volunteer Appreciation Chili
Cook-Off on Fri, Dec 1, 6- 8pm at the Nature Center, and again in front
of the Mayor and Commissioners on Tues, Dec 5. Please make
plans to attend one of these events!

Come help out finishing the 27
hole disc golf course, and earn hours towards a season pass and commemorative
disc! Projects include privet and brush clearing, digging tee pad placement
and post holes for signs, etc. Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes,
bring gloves if possible. All tools are provided.
