Here are mine...

1. Dinara Sarfina - Williams won't play the events to unseat her.

2. Serena Williams - Brute strength alone. Plus watch for semi's + in the
final championships

3,4,5, and for that matter 6,7,and 8 are harder to project.

3. Elena Dementieva - some loss of momentum, but...

4. Venus - seems to be slipping but won't fall far.

5. Caroline Wozniacki ... and into the top 3 next year.

Honorable mention

Jankovic - for her heart, but has a slew of points to lose in the remainder of
the year and will have trouble staying top 10.
