Err... for women outside the top 100, Wimbledon starts on Tuesday 16th June.
The list of wild cards is on the following site, and Ashley is not listed.

When Ashley was a hot prospect in juniors IMG pulled some strings for her. It
seems now that the girls they are pulling strings for are Michelle Larcher de
Brito and Alexa Glatch.
I saw both of them in juniors years ago. I don't remember ever talking to
Alexa; but I did chat to Michelle last year before her match at Wimbledon; she
seemed so nice; the kind of girl that guys dream of having for a daughter. I
was looking forward to seeing her in qualies this year - now it is not going to
happen. :((
Whether they are doing Laura Robson a big favour giving her a wild card into the
singles main draw depends on who she is picked to play against. There is a lot
to be said for playing qualifiers if you think you are good enough to win them.
They produce points, and get you ready to win that all important first round
main draw match.
It would be cool if Anne Keothavong got to play the same opponent in the 1st
round at Wimbledon that she played against in the 1st round at Roland Garros;
they played against each other in the girls semifinal at Wimbledon in 2001, when
Anne had a bandaged leg.

Young Ashley is not someone who occupies my thought very much. I still have a
beautiful framed photo of her at Astrid Bowl on my lounge wall. Hope she makes
a good living; that is what really matters.
