Where did the year go?

Ashley has shown a strange year, both missing and sometimes exceeding her potential.

There has been a maturity in her game, more consistency. At the same time I believe she can easily vault up the rankings if this is what she really wants.

2006 is trailing off, but winter 2007 and a new beginning is just around the corner.
