No one can ever get tired of talking about this kid! Every season he adds a new
element to his game.
Goals from midfield has been an integral part of what has made arsenal teams
dangerous over the years. One dilemna teams faced in the past when they played
Arsenal was who to mark. You couldn't mark out only Henry, you had to worry
about Bergkamp finding Ljunberg or Henry playing in Ljungberg. And with these
players moving quickly around an opponent's penalty area, marking was a real
chore!
With Rosicky, Fab and Hleb weighing in with their quota and van Persie leading
the charts, then we can finally conclude Arsenal is returning to where we
rightly belong.
But back to fabregas...
His first season in the first team, he had us oohing and aahing at his touch
and passing...then it was his vision...then his courage and determination...now
he's added goal scoring. Forget pace and lack of height; this kid doesn't need
it. I hope he's still got five seasons at the Emirates cos the only midfielder I
rate higher than Cesc is barca's Xavi.
