Recently Wenger made two contradictory statements , he said that
Arsenal will not neither win the Champions league nor the premiership , which
would damage players moral and confidence, yet he later stated that the
Gunners are as good as the others and that they will make an impact, also that
he will not make major signings in January , the provocative point is what has
his obligations been in the past ten years to find out now that Arsenal need
more time to build up and form a challenging team ?, and why neither he nor
the directors figured out that the team needed refreshing and continuity?,
particularly that, in his reign so far , more than fifty players came and go ,
incidentally most of them were foreigners because Monsieur Wenger has a very
low opinion on the British players , also most of the home grown talents were
forced out of Highbury for the sake of Wengers darling foreigners , which made
it confusing why Brady, the youth team coach, is staying in
his job while his work is irrelevant and not being considered at all by the
manager or the directors ?. For example had Wenger given Upson or Pennant the
same support and tolerance he has been given to Cygan or Flamini , Arsenal
would have been having one of the best defenders or midfielders in the
premiership , or at least a good and adequate substitutions, and probably the
much impressive Bentley is on his way out for the sake of Aliadiere.
To the admirers of Wenger, they should realize that most of the credit
of the past success should have been given to the rest of the staff ,
particularly Rice , so though Wenger may know that he is not capable of the job,
frankly I sincerely wish that Wenger would accept Real Madrid’s offer, for
Arsenal may get out with some money to be used in a significant signings , as
well as that the team needs fresh( blood and ideas ) so as they brought him from
the obscurity of no where and made a big name of him, they can do it again , I
wish that Wenger would not made Saddam’s mistake when he refused the honourable
exit offered to him , yet ended, disgraced, in a rat’s burrow !.
