Arsenal supporter. Hey guys, finishing runners-up
isn't too bad considering the season performance as a
whole. I know, Arsenal's expected to retain the
Championship but football fans, most especially
Arsenal fans, should try to look on all the aspects
that affect & influence our favorite team's overall
performance. It is terribly unfair to compare to what
Chelsea have accomplished this season. It is a fact
that because of thye Abramovich factor, we couldn't
compete w/ them in the transfer market. Even with Man
United & Liverpool for that matter. It is admirable
what Arsene Wenger has done for this season. Guess by
now, you could just imagine the potentials of the
players Arsenal has acquired recently. Cesc Fabregas,
a real steal from Barcelona has got class, vision &
confidence. Philippe Senderos, another gem stolen from
under the noses of huge European clubs, is another
star in the making. Philippe's star has shone in the
prolonged absence of rock-solid Sol Campbell. He's
gained valuable experience now & Arsenal can
definitely count on this solid & workhorse of a
defender. And please, don't forget about what Arsene
has done with such talents as Kolo Toure. With measly
sums spent on these 3 alone, Arsene has acquired 3
huge talents which will definitely serve Arsenal in
good stead for years to come. And we haven't even
talked yet about Van Persie & the hardworking
Flamini.Think about it, Real Madrid wanted Arsene to
take his act to Spain but the guy simply stayed put.
That speaks a lot about the shrewd tactician we got in
Arsene.He ain't just a shrewd operator in the transfer
market. He ain't just got an eye for raw talents &
potential world-class footballers. The guy's got CLASS
written all over him. Others would have simply left
for Real Madrid. You can just imagine the lucrative
offer & the prospect of handling the club (which
boasts Zidane, Figo, Raul, Roberto Carlos, Beckhm,
etc.)with huge financial clout & backing. But Arsene
wouldn't have it because he's got LOYALTY. I believe
that he rejected the OFFER because he wants to see the
realization & the culmination of all the hardwork he's
done for the club.All those years of team planning &
build-up, Arsene will lead Arsenal to a dawning of a
new era at Ashburton Grove.Detractors & critics can
say whatever they wanna say but I am very pleased with
what he has done & accomplished all these years AND
considering what he has DONE with the transfer kitty
that the BOARD has allowed him to negotiate & deal
with.
