Hey Rugy
I had already organised to come back from Sydney this
weekend and stay all week to work on the track. Only
bitch is now I have to be back for a job interview
Tuesday arvo so I can stay in town till Monday night.
I am gunna try and come back for the rest of the week
to get some air time on the track if I can get away
with it workwise.
If you want I can hang round the expo for a few hours
over the weekend, just let me know what times you need
to fill in. I do need some riding time as well
though.....I wanna hit up fencline properly, I get my
bike back from BA on fri after finally replacing all
the drivetrain and installing a chainguide (e-13 DRS).
So now i can pedal it and go a bit faster. Should be
sorted for some ped'lin, some speed, and lotsa air
time.
I feel the need, the need for speed...........
Any luck with Gary Valencia regarding the start gate,
if you need me too I can chase him up over the weekend
while I am home.

Hey guys,
Ok here's the deal, i need a couple of volunteers to
help out with various mountain bike related
activities...
First, this weekend is the northern outdoor adventure
expo. It is also "bike, you'll like it day"! We have a
tent, table etc. going to be set up for the newly
established 'New England Mountain Bike Club' so we can
get interest out there and perhaps attract a few new
members. Now that i've finally finished my HSC
(finished today, woooo hoooo) i can afford to get on
top of everything and get the club properly up and
running. We are planning to run regular cross country
and mountain cross club/race meets. So i think i've
got everything sorted in terms of the actual set up of
the display... I just need a few volunteers who could
be there on the table, talk up mountain biking, tell
people why they should join, bribe new members etc
etc. Its on this saturday and sunday (sorry for the
late notice, my computer's down, had to borrow one to
send this). If you think you can help out at all on
either of these days even for an hour or two please
let me know tonight or tomorrow either through email,
home phone: 67714850, or my mobile: 0417 300 986.
Cheers.
Secondly, next week Glen Jacobs is coming down to
construct the Mountain Cross track. He said it would
be useful to have a few guys there to help out
wherever help may be needed. He said its also good to
have guys on bikes to test jumps, obstacles etc. to
see what their shape is like. We'll have quad moto's
up there so you wont have to trudge round all day! We
start construction first thing Monday and any
volunteers at any stage during the week would be great
help!! If you think you can help out (or avoid exams;
or just perve on Glen Jacobs building an awesome
track) please contact and let me know asap!
Cheers again,
Sorry bout the late notice, my computer's covered in
viruses and currently being overhauled. Look forward
to hearing from you!
Dave.
