Too late Mark
I did that trip on Sunday morning.
After enjoying the ride so much on Saturday I got up
sunday morning, got all the thermals on and headed up
Mt Duval about 10.30 am when it looked OK outside. It
was cold and cloudy but not raining at that stage, it
was not till I got the top that the slow and sleet
started. There was some patches of snow from the night
before on the way up but the fast run back down again
was a blast, it was a bit paiful though with the sleet
and snow in my eyes, it felt like I was snowboarding
on my bike.
I made it back down no probs and went home for a hot
toddy, a hot bath and the arvo in the couch under a
blanky. Twas a bit chilly i have to say but it was
well worth the pain.
