Are you sure that next year is 2007?

I should have said that this jersey thing is a longer term thing, I am thinking maybe early next year (2007) to give us all some time to save up and if possible get some sponsorship to make it cheaper.

I’ve barely broken in my last one! However, as we know, I’m always up for new gear!!! Personally, I think the presentation of a custom designed jersey would be great, particularly if one/some of us is heading off to ride in various events round the countryside - it’s just another little way of showing that we exist, perhaps making contacts/links with other nearby clubs/riders, but most importantly of all, showing just what an incredibly stylish group of people we are (would you like me to check with Armani to see of they do jerseys?) However, I’m conscious that not everyone can spare even $50, let alone $70.

Which reminds me – I was going to check with that mob in Canberra that does quotes for runs as small as 6. Did you chase them up, or would you still like me to?

Just out of interest,

We have been approached by a few jersey manufacturers about supplying our club with jerseys.

I would like to know what everyone thinks.

Firstly would you like to have a club jersey?

Secondly (if you are keen) would you prefer a cheaper single colour jersey that we would get printed in town (guessing $50) or a more expensive custom designed jersey from somewhere like Netti (confirmed price $70).

Let me know your thoughts…..;.
