Eight shows to run on NBC to promote Olympics

The AVP Crocs Tour will begin NBC coverage with eight live shows leading up to the network's coverage of the Olympic games. Volleyball enthusiasts and AVP Crocs Tour fans nationwide will have the chance to sample upcoming Olympic competition as NBC, the official US broadcast partner of the Olympics, will nationally air both the men's and women's AVP Crocs Tour finals from Boulder, Colo., Chicago, Ill., Brooklyn, N.Y., and Long Beach, Calif., featuring world class beach volleyball competition. Coverage begins on Saturday, July 5, at 3 p.m. ET. "We are pleased to be able to share the AVP Crocs Tour with fans across the nation that have the opportunity to tune in and enjoy the excitement of our tournament finals live," said Leonard Armato, CEO and Commissioner of the AVP Crocs Tour. Calling for new competition. We have a group of approx. 12-20 co-ed
players that love to play sand v-ball. There are about 6-8 of us that
are able to play on a regular basis. We play by the rules w/ rally
point scoring. Usually it is 4 on 4. Sometimes 3on3 and even try 2 on
2. We are looking for teams that would interested in coming down for a
day to play for fun or find places where we might go to sharpen our
game. We play at the Lock & Dam Park in Rsvl. and we all just like
good competition. We don't talk smack to people. Please respond if
anyone is interested. Four of us are playing in 4 on 4 in Morrilton
this Saturday. Wish me luck.
