USA Volleyball Adds Two CAP Clinics
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 24, 2006) – USA Volleyball will conduct two
Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP) programs on Dec. 2-3.
The Evergreen Region will host a CAP Level I clinic at Spokane Falls
Community College Gymnasium in Spokane, Wash. Check-in for the CAP I and II
courses will be on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 a.m. The sessions will run from
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 2 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 3. Bill
Neville, the USAV national commissioner for coaching education, Kim Oden,
head coach at St. Francis High School (Calif.), and Carla Beaudet, USA
Volleyball assistant for coaching education, will be among the cadre for the
clinic.

The Delta Region will host a CAP Level I clinic at Saint Theresa Church
Parish Center in Little Rock, Ark. Check-in for the CAP I and II courses
will be on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 a.m. The sessions will run from 8 a.m.
to 8 p.m. on Dec. 2 and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Dec. 3. Penny
Lucas-White, head women’s coach at the Air Force Academy, Ruth Lawanson,
head women’s coach at Angelo State University, and Diana Cole, USA
Volleyball director of coaching education, will be the cadre for the clinic.

The USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP) is a comprehensive,
three-level coaching education program covering all aspects of coaching and
