I have regretfully decided to offer my 6 yr. Morgan gelding for sale. This past
summer we competed in eventing for the first time, completeing 2 BN level events
and one Novice level event, finishing on our dressage score each time. Luka is a
super jumper, wins in open jumper classes, is fast and careful and can make
quick turns. On cross country he is bold and athletic, easily makes time (plus
some!). He is 14.3 hds but I am 5'8" and have never felt too big for him. Judges
love his presence and he loves attention. Luka needs a strong, correct dressage
rider to get the best out of him, but will jump for anyone, just point him at
the jump and hang on! His talent and potential are endless for the right rider.
I've had him his whole life and I don't HAVE to sell him, I am looking for the
right person who will love on him as much as I do. My health concerns are
causing me to try & find someone with more time & energy than I have to dedicate
to him. He is
sound and healthy, clips, ties, trailers, bathes, stands for braiding;
everything you'd expect a show horse to do. Goes in a snaffle although gets
strong in it going XC, I don't have any issues in it but a less confident rider
might want something stronger for XC. Needs a rider who knows how to ride off
seat, legs & back, not a "pull and kick" rider. Confidence is more important
than skill, will likely do great for a Pony Clubber with an instructor. Also
good for hunters with super form over jumps every time.
