Thanks to everyone who voted.  We will continue to play a competitive game on Wedsnesdays at 5:00, starting this week!  Currently we will stay at Appleton Memorial Park, but we might switch to FVTC, per Jeremy's suggestion, depending on availability.  Watch your email for updates.

 

I know there were a few people who preferred weekends.  I'm looking into joining with another area group on Sundays, and I will let you know what I find out.

 

Also, if you're interested in a non-competitive game, email me at appletonultimate@yahoo.com and I will inform you of other opportunities.

 

But, let's get out and throw a frisbee, tomorrow, 5:00, Appleton Memorial Park.  Bring a light and dark shirt, water, and cleats.

Good evening.

 

This Sunday will be the first official gather-and-toss for Fox Valley Ultimate.  We’ll be at the Ashwaubomay Memorial River Park, which is just south of Highway 172, between Ashland Avenue and the Fox River.  If you’re coming, bring some water.  We’ll meet at 2pm in one of the vacant soccer fields (there will be a large orange and black sign if you have any trouble finding us).

 

This will likely just be a meet-and-toss thing for an hour or two (or longer if anyone’s really itching to do it), but if we get enough people to show up, we’ll do something a little more interesting, depending on the numbers.

 

I would imagine that you all have spoken to either Kevin or myself by now, so if you have any questions, give one of us a holler.  I can be reached at this e-mail or by phone (414-807.9743).  If you know anyone else who wants to get in on this, invite them along.

Since census is low on Wednesdays and we changed it to accomodate me...it
appears as though Wed are far worse than Thursdays. I propose moving frisbee
time to Thursdays again. I've also discovered a huge group playing in
Freedom. Hopefully, numbers will increase. Can we start playing on Thursday
nights again?
