I want to be a SUPER RANDONNEUR!!!

There is still time left to embark on the incredible challenge and receive the prestigious Super Randonneur status for 2009. To reach this classic goal, you need to complete a 200km, 300km, 400km and 600km audax brevet in one riding season (in Singapore = 1 year).

Already Gareth (Super) Cooper is leading the charge with only the 600km ride left to finish before he earns the title of Super Randonneur. Andrew Macintyre, Chris Marshall, Barry McDonnell and myself (Denise) are not far behind with 2 rides of varying distances to achieve this goal. Attached is the list of ANZA members and their completed rides up until April. Once we receive data from the 200km in May and this Saturday's 300km, we'll make the updates and keep these posted on the website.

So here are the dates for the remaining Audax rides for this year, get them in your diary now. Let the fun times and training begin.

July 11th               200km
August 15th             300km
October 10th            400km
November 14th   600km

You do still have a month to train and prepare for the 200km in July. I will be sending out a list of rides that will take place each Saturday to build up distance, endurance and introduce cycling in heat and on some hills for those interested to join. If you have any questions please let me know.
