The TriValley AllStar games will happen on Sunday, 7/31. The 48+
game
will be at 9am at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg.
The Antiques are supposed to supply 4 players. We can select them
in
any way we feel like. So I propose that we start with
volunteers.
If more than 4 players want to play we can whittle it down
somehow.
So, please let me know ASAP if you want to play on that
Sunday.
Below are two messages, one from Mike Protheroe and one from Rick
Hubbs.
The messages have lots more info about format of the games
etc.
There's actually something in it for the team. If "our"
team wins the
game, the Antiques get $200 off of our entry fee for next year.
See below
for more info.
I cannot participate. I'll be in Washington visiting
grandkids.

I will be managing the A team which includes the Pirates, Braves, Antiques and the Giants. This years All Star game will have a prize pot for the winning team of $ 200.00 credit towards next years League fees for each team on the winning team. Player selection will be as follows; The Braves may elect 5 players either by manager selection or team players vote, The Antiques select 4 players and the Giants select 3 players. Please have your player selections to me ASAP via e-mail. Make sure your selected players are available to play and want to play, remember we are playing to win. No pitcher may pitch more than 3 innings so pitching is important. All players will get a chance to play. Please give me the player, their 1st position and summary of what they bring to the party. If you as manager are not one of the players selected to play I would like you to come and coach with me. Please let me know if you can do this. I have an option to select 2 wildcard players but I don't want to use it so lets get the best team we can through your teams selections.
Thanks,
Rick Hubbs
