We won the first game 8-2 (according to the TV website; I thought is
was 7-3). Dutch started and went 6 strong innings to get the win. Denny
finished the final three for a save. The bad guys scored first, but we
got back even in the top of the second. We put together a 5-2 lead that
we held for most of the game.

We won the second game 16-13. Both teams played pretty shabby defense
in the heat. Julian went 5+ and Denny finished again. The bad guys again
scored first, with 3 in the top of the first. Then things see-sawed for
the middle innings. We were 12-12 after 5.5 innings. We scored 4 in
the bottom of the sixth and held on in the seventh to win.

It was HOT!!
