Hi guys,
We're getting good response for the early season tournaments. It looks
like Ted Francis will be taking a team to the MSBL Kickoff in Las Vegas
in March. We'll have at least one team in the Roy Hobbs First Pitch
in Las Vegas in April.
I'm using some new website software this year to help me keep track
of the more than 100 names I have on various email lists. I'm trying
to make this easier on me :-) by making the system self-service.
To participate you have to register on the new site and subscribe to
those parts that you want to track. I have three main categories right
now: Norcal Antiques (35+), Trivalley Antiques (55+), and Tournament
Antiques (lots of tournaments, including Father-Son). You can subscribe
to the ones you want to keep track of.
So... how do you register? Here's the memo I sent to the regular season
guys a while back. When you register, you'll be able to get to all of
the information on who is doing what for various tournaments.
PLEASE SIGN UP! Do it now! And remember your username and password so you
can get back in when you want to.

Hi guys,
It's time to start thinking about the 2007 baseball season!
I plan to make a few changes regarding how the club is run this year.
I have found some website software that should make my life MUCH easier.
It does require that each of you do a few things to help me.
I spend a good deal of time managing email mailing lists. Adding and
deleting people from various lists. I want to quit doing that. I need
each of you to register on a new website I've created and
subscribe to the Antiques news forum on that site.
For those of you who claim to be computer illiterate, I'll include
step-by-step directions. If you have any problems, please call me
at my office and I'll walk you through the process. I really need
ALL of you to do this or it won't work right.
OVERVIEW
1) Register - to gain access to the site, which allows you to do Step 2.
2) Login for your first session, which allows you to do Step 3.
3) Enroll in the "Antiques 2007" subsite, which allows you access to
team resources.
After completing these steps, in future sessions, you'll only have
to do step 2 (Login) to gain access.
Please follow these steps and inform us of any difficulties:
1) Register to gain access to site (platform)
a) From the link:
b) Read the section "Is this your first time here?"
b) Near bottom, right hand side, click on "Create new account"
c) Enter your registration info
d) Receive confirmation email
2) Login for your first session
a) Upon receiving email, click on the link within email that confirms
your registration with the site
b) This should take you to a screen that reads "Registration has been
confirmed", Thanks, firstname lastname, -> Courses
3) Enroll in Antiques 2007
a) Click on "Courses"
b) Next screen reads "Course Categories" at the top
NOTE: Most of the entries in this list have nothing to do with
us. As you can see, the main site is for communication
with people in my company.
c) Scroll down to "Customers". Just below "Baseball", click on
"Antiques 2007"
d) You'll be asked for an enrollment key. Enter "baseball" (without
the quotes).
You should be taken to the Antiques 2007 subsite.
Check out the Antiques news forum. I'll use this to post news.
If you're enrolled in the course you are "subscribed" to this forum.
This means you'll get email when I post something to the forum.
You can create a new discussion topics whenever you wish. Read what's
there already and add a new topic or reply to existing topics. Part of
the idea is that I don't have to be the ONLY one with answers.
We REALLY NEED your feedback, positive or negative. Please send feedback
either via email or via the Forum on the website.
You can post your feedback on the Forum.
Go to the course. (http://www.xsfor.us/course/view.php?id=22)
Click on the Forum icon.
Click on "Add a new discussion topic".
Fill in the Subject and Message sections and click the "Post to forum" button
