The reason so many players on the Red wing bench are hated is simply
because they're talented, hell why do you think I hate the Lakers.
Mccarty, and Shanahan I personally know as great people as well as
role models off the ice as well as on it. I'd like to specialize my
emphasis on Mccarty considering he opened up his own charity to help
fight the war on cancer as a Father's day gift to his father who he
lost due to cancer. Lidstrom has been nominated for the Lady Bing
nominee multiple times and although may have been presumptiously
named as the greatest defensemen to ever play the game, has shown no
personal signs of conceit. Hasek is a noted ice icon, who was a hero
to his country in Nagano and currently carries charities in both
Detroit as well as Buffalo, not to mention his own hot sauce. The
only player on the Red Wings who I believe may be marginalbe filthly
moral-wise is Fedorav and I'm estimating that the rest of your
accusations are jealous assumptions considering Detroit is better
then your home team and the only way you can formulate a method of
attack is by questioning their social integrity. Either way you look
at it I don't see how this puts any of Detroit's players below the
Wife-beating, team mate punching, too good for team Canada (not like
he was needed), whiner Patrick Roy. Even my girl friend who's an
enormous Avs fan thinks that Roy is too arrogant to root for and was
laughing at him when he went to the bench in game 7.
