Guess who the Avs will face in first round. Yes,
the injury-plagued Canucks. It couldn't easier for
the Avs to beat them since the Canucks will miss
Naslund for all of the serie and Cassels for half of it
which are their 2 best scorers. This means Roy will
probably have a shot at having shutouts. That would really
piss me off. Although I already am.<br><br>There was
one damn team that could make the playoff that I
didn't want the Avs to face them and it is the Canucks.
Phoenix... it would have been okay with Sean Burke, they
wouldn't have won but at least they would give the Avs
some competition. But my pick would have been Edmonton
or Los Angeles... Edmonton is very young talented,
tough and they have a hot goalie right now. Los Angeles
is very tough also but they lack netminding
experience in the playoffs which I think will hurt them
since their goalies is the only thing that stop them in
the past decade or so.<br><br>At least the Avs wil
have to face a good team somehow in the playoffs this
year. But let's hope this good team isn't too worn out
for their serie against Colorado.<br><br><br>GO
