As all of you are probably aware, the International Hockey League has folded and
six of the former teams have been admitted to the AHL. The Kentucky franchise
is also relocating to Cleveland, and Manchester and Bridgeport both join the AHL
this season (whew!). What a great time to be a hockey fan! Look for off-season
updates in the future, including news on whether the Amerks will retain the
Buffalo Sabres as their parent club. Any feedback? Let me know...also look for
a website to be launched in the near future.
