Having problems with message search?
Hi, everyone.
I just read the article about Craig Fisher announcing his retirement--I live in Williamsburg, VA, and I get my Amerks news through the Rochester paper on-line.
My wife's family is from Geneva, NY, and while we were there at Thanksgiving, we went to see the Amerks. I was hoping to see Fisher score a couple of his "signature goals"--the kind where he had a defenseman or two all over him and he still managed to put the puck in the net. Unfortunately, he was injured about two weeks before.
It hurt to read about the difficulties he's having with his daily activities right now. Hopefully his recovery will be rapid and as complete as possible, and that the Amerks can win him a Calder Cup ring.
Well, here's to one of the purest scorers I've ever seen.
