To all subscribers of the Amerks list:

I'm sorry that the list has been so inactive during the summer...but now
it's time for hockey! Just for those of you who weren't subscribed to this
list last season, basically this is an information supplement for fans of the
Rochester Americans. I try as hard as I can to get relevant information on
this list as soon as possible, although sometimes it can be difficult (I'm a
full time college student and work two jobs). Anyway, here is a list of
probable Amerks for this season, followed by those who will remain in
contention for a roster spot with the parent Buffalo Sabres:

Members of the Americans as of Thursday, September 16: Jeremy Adduono (right
wing), Craig Brunel (right wing), Gene Chiarello (goaltender), Jason Cipolla
(center), Randy Cunneyworth (left wing), Scott Fisher (right wing), Doug
Houda (defenseman), Dimitri Kalinin (defenseman), Dieter Kochan (goaltender),
Ales Kotalik (right wing), Francois Methot (center), Brad Moran (center),
Scott Nichol (center), Kamil Piros (center), Luc Theoret (defenseman) and
Darren VanOene (left wing)
In Buffalo Sabres camp as of Thursday, September 16: Maxim Afinegonov, Martin
Biron, Brian Campbell, David Moravec, Mika Noronen and Cory Sarich.

It can be assumed that either Biron or (more likely) Noronen will be assigned
to Rochester for goaltending duties in the near future. More information to
come and don't lose heart if you don't hear from me...if there are questions
you would like answers to, please don't hesitate to send a message to the
list!
