I just wanted to take a moment and send out a letter welcoming all of
the new subscribers to the list. I also want to apologize for extremely
incomplete coverage of the Amerks Calder Cup playoff games. My system
suffered damage and I was unable to reboot fully until after the series was
complete. However, the system is up and running now and I will be providing
updates on post-season happenings as they progress. I may also throw in some
other tidbits from time to time.
With the most recent expansion draft complete, this is just an update
to inform everyone that only one player was taken from the Rochester
Americans. Sniper Dean Sylvester, who compiled a great offensive record
during the Amerks Calder Cup run, was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers on
unspecified terms.
