Polox is growing at such a rapid rate in Texas and it seems across the U.S. So many tournaments to chose from? Soooooo.... I wonder if there are too many tournaments? It is a growing problem, that is good to have but, maybe we could talk about?
#1-I'm sure there will always be the BIG ones; Waldemar, Jon Weber, etc.
#2-Each club wants and needs to have tournaments for operating expenses but, if you put a lot of money and time in and don't have a good turnout a club can actually loose money? Time spent is also an issue for we all are volunteers of our time!
#3- I think we all like to, for the most part spend our time and money on the bigger carnivals? Not to say a small playday is nice for a change!
#4- Sooo... how about two clubs working together and say trading off which field to hold your tounament? Problem is if we all try to hold a tournament each spring and fall there will not be as big of a turnout for a lot of the clubs. It all comes down to; time & money.
Just some thoughts guys?
Some day when each of our clubs have 50 or 60 players each it will be necessary to have many to choose from!
That day is coming soon but, I don't think we are quite ther yet?
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Dan

I was just wondering if all the clubs in Texas could post when there
tournaments are going to be and where. I have a few already, but I know
there's plenty more! Just trying to set up things with our team. Thanks
a bunch!
