We are getting closer to the end of the regular season, and at this
point, there are no stand-outs since the race is very tight.

- SANTOS vs ATLANTE: Teams #1 & #2 in the standings played last
Sunday in Torreon, a place where SANTOS does not lose that often. The
game was played with great stride by both teams and although there
were many shots on goal, only one made it. SANTOS won 1-0 with the
score being made by Paraguayan Dennis Caniza.
- TIGRES vs MONTERREY: This match was also the "70th Northern
Derby"... MONTERREY was a slight favorite because of having their
team complete while TIGRES is struggling with injuries and/or red
card players. MONTERREY got off to a great start and scored first by
Brazilian Alex Fernandez (he always scores vs. TIGRES). TIGRES was
able to bounce back and won the game 2-1.
- SAN LUIS vs MORELIA: MORELIA has been playing great the last few
weeks and demonstrated this by defeating SAN LUIS at their turf 4-2.
Goals by Chilean Reynaldo Navia & Mexican Rodolfo Bautista.
- CRUZ AZUL VS ATLAS & GUADALAJARA vs PUMAS: Both Mexican
representatives in the Copa Libertadores did not lose this weekend
drawing in both matches 1-1.
All scores are as follows:
Jaguares 0 - 0 Querétaro
Colibríes 2 - 2 Necaxa
UAG 3 - 0 Toluca
Cruz Azul 1 - 1 Atlas
Tigres 2 - 1 Monterrey
San Luis 2 - 4 Morelia
Pachuca 1 - 1 Veracruz
Guadalajara 1 - 1 UNAM
Santos 1 - 0 Atlante
América 0 - 1 Puebla
