Hey guys,

Well I like to thank all the new members for doing just that...
Becoming a member of the All American Stick Fighting group here at
yahoo groups.

Like I wrote on the main page of the group... One of the main reasons
I created this group to be an on-line gathering place martial artist
who train in full contact stick fighting or who are just students of
the martial arts who like to find out more about stick fighting. Which
is why its great we have a few new members who made the call to become
a member. For every new voice is a new point of view on stick fighting
and the fighting arts whole. Which in turn makes us all better
martial artist.

So I really look forward to reading your post from all you members
both new and old that have a few of your insights, theories & ideas
surrounding the modern art of stick fighting or weapons based martial
arts fighting systems like say the use of a bokken in Kenjutsu, how
best to use a Bo or Jo staff it point tourements fighting, or for
that matter how the finer points of the Japaneses art Kyujutsu sums up
the soul of Japan in the days, weeks and years to come.

So once again let me that you new members as well as well as my old
members who have been with me from day one for becoming a member and
walking this path of the modern martial artist with us...
