A question to all of you if I may? In Advincula's Combat Escrima we use the
stick as a stick, but we also use it as a substitute for the sword or knife. Is
this a common practice in the styles some of you teach or do you teach the stick
exclusively? If you would like to see how we go from sticks to short swords, go

fighting with two short swords is my senior student. The red armor is from a
