JSVBA/New Jersey Lottery's Shore Thing Instant Classic Beach Volley   Message List

On a beautiful 90 degree summer day in Seaside Heights, NJ, nearly 35,000
spectators saw some of the best beach volleyball on the east coast.

The New Jersey Lottery's Shore Thing Instant Classic Beach Volleyball
Tournament offered up the toughest JSVBA Men's Open Field in possibly the last
5 years.

For those of you who played and received the goodie bags, remember to check
your Shore Thing Instant Winner scratch off tickets as one of them may have
been a $50,000 winner.

This tournament was notable just by the teams that didn't make the playoff
field in the Men's Open.

The event was won by the team of James Walls (current AVP player) and Ed
Bross.

Second Place went to the team of Jon Rose and Brian Gulick.

An indicator of the strength of the field would be the fact that four (4)
recent AVP Main Draw players competed in this event with only one of them
making it to the Finals.
