Howdy Volleyball Fans,

We are a friendly, fun-loving & diverse group of intermediate to better level players, with varied volleyball backgrounds. Our group started in 1997 as a one net volleyball game for beginners eager to learn and more experienced players willing to teach. The level of play has improved over the years and we have added a 2nd net, which allows us to facilitate Court#1 for 2's, and court#2 for 2's up to 4's or 5's. Inexperienced players are allowed by invite only for court#2 (If you invite them, they're your responsibility) Unsafe or unpleasant players will be asked to sit out.

Generally, we play Sundays (weather permitting) starting around Noon or 1:00PM (sometimes we may organize 2's as early as 9AM) at the intersection of Shoreline Dr. & Willow St. Alameda, CA 94501 (See map link below). We also organize weekday games such as Tuesdays and/or Thursdays during Daylight Savings Time. We also send out emails for various in door drop-in volleyball venues during the week and winter.

Be sure to bring snug sandals, water socks or a pair of regular socks (the sand gets quite hot in the summer), sun block, water, and plenty of good spirits. It is also highly recommended to bring an extra layer should it get windy later in the day.
