Follow this link. It'll take you to the groups cycling page. Ask Preston Beasley and he should be able to help you out. You'll also be able to see the newest kit. I'm sure you'll like this one even more, and I'm sure we'll be having a reorder soon so don't worry.

I have been trying to get a U of A cycling kit for over a year now. I would be willing to buy a used kit. I just missed the pre-order for the 2009 kit and really liked the design.

Size - I would need a L/XL (42 - size 5 euro) and a size 5 (xl) bib.

If anyone knows how I can purchase, or if anyone that has a kit of this size and is willing to sale, please respond to this post.

Regards,
David

Hi Everyone!!

The email attached is a great way to jumpstart the school year for your teams.  Please pass this along to your club members.  If anyone from your team would like to volunteer, please email us a list of the names.  Remember Volunteer points make up a good deal of the points in your budget allocations.  If your club volunteers, these points will go to THIS YEAR's budget allocations in October and will help your team's standing out.

Have a great rest of your summer and excellent beginning to your fall.

Thanks,
Christina McClellan

Sorry, incomplete email sent the first time.  It's completed now.  Thanks!

Kendrick

Seth,

Thanks a lot for the help.  We really need the volunteers.  Most of the volunteers are for Saturday, Aug 22nd with the Age Group National Championships in the morning and the Elite National Championships in the afternoon.  If people don't want to volunteer on Saturday, they can help out on Thursday and Friday.  If people want to volunteer as a group, they should email Kacee, at Kacee@....  She also needs Kayakers, so if the current leaders of the Kayak club can email her, that would be great.  She said if an individual sport club brings lots of volunteers, they could get a donation to their sport club.  Volunteer's should signup at the below link:

http://usatriathlon.volunteerlocal.com/index.php?event=111

Thanks again!

Kendrick

Dave,

Alabama Cycling would like to put in a bid to host a race the weekend of April
3rd-4th, 2010. If that weekend is unavailable, our second choice would be March
20th-21st, 2010.

We are discussing options with Alabama higher-ups and plan to host another
fantastic weekend.

Thanks,

Sam Barr

    Mtn:  Razorback, Reddick FL

Goals:
To not only learn racing strategies and get stronger but to be able to be a contender in the Collegiate B races.

My Dad got me into riding, we started with mtn, then went to road in middle school for a big 150 mile charity ride.  Now I live with a great blend of both in my life.

Last bad crash:  I was trying to do a small drop on my mtn bike in an offroad park in a limerock quarry in Gainesville FL.  I landed only on my back wheel, laid it over to one side, and slid down the compacted limerock for 30 feet. My whole right leg and elbow were pretty bare after that one.

Sports:  Mtn and Road bikes,Wakeboarding, Hiking, Backpacking, Rock Climbing
Downhills, haha.  My weight caries me.  But that is not a legit awnser. I tend to be able to hold a pretty steady cadence, and power for a real long time.

Well I don't have much of a career but I have the 2 top 5 finishes from the UF race and I have a 4th place finish in the SERC Hailes Trails mtn bike race.

Hey guys,

I attached the marshal volunteer schedule for our race weekend. If you are
interested in signing up for a time slot, contact Tyler Mathews, the marshal
volunteer coordinator at tjmathews@....

We are also looking for five volunteers with a van or truck to serve as a wheel
van for each of the five road races on Saturday. If you have a truck/van and are
interested in helping out, please get back to me. The road races will all start
around one and go for 30-70 miles depending on category.

Any member of Alabama Cycling who does not plan on racing, please help us out!

Tri officers - please forward this out to your email list

Seth and/or Christina - please forward this out to all other Sport Clubs

Thanks,

Sam
