1 Tirunesh Dibaba (Eth)
2 Lornah Kiplagat (Net)
3 Meselech Melkamu (Eth)
 
I just saw the result. It's Dibaba's third world title in cross country, next to three on the track. It's impressive, because she had measles two weeks ago. She was 5 seconds ahead of European champion Kiplagat, and 12 seconds ahead of Melkamu.
The junior race went to Pauline Chemning Korikwang from Kenya.

This is fantastic news. They show it on Eurosport and the BBC later today. She will have a hard time tomorrow against Burika Bati and Ochichi, who didn't run...
