Haunted Navigation Wednesday October 29th   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #445 of 697 |
A few questions have come up. So...
1.  I don't know how to navigate.  If you can read a city map, you are set!!! Your coordinates will be street addresses.  Also, you will be in teams of 2-4 (of your choice).  So, put your heads together to locate the haunted establishments.
2.  I'm not a fast rider.  This is a fun navigation event, so speed is relative!  You go at your pace.  Remember, speed is not the only factor is successful navigation.  It is planning your route.
3.  Do I need a mountain bike or road bike.  Either.  If you have a commuter bike or a "beater" bike that you ride, use that.  Just be sure to have a helmet and lights!!!  I may ride my 50 pound Schwinn.

If you have any other questions just email me.
This is just for fun and to get out an play!  We did this last year on foot.  Some of the establishments will play along so you may learn more haunting facts!!!

Let me tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. I stand and rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a wheel...the picture of free, untrammeled womanhood.
