Saturday Market Canceled

Dear Fans of Local Food and Farmers,

Due to the high chance that there will be strong winds (25-35 mph) with gusts up to 40 mph, and rain, we are cancelling the market. We are most concerned about the safety of the farmers, other vendors, and market customers.

We would very much like your support for farmers and vendors in the succeeding markets of Wednesday, Sept. 17th (4-8 pm at 46th and Lamar, at the Triangle), and Saturday, Sept. 20th (9 am to 1 pm, at 4th and Guadalupe at Republic Square Park). See information at our website.

We hope that, in fact, the rain and wind predictions are wrong, and we have a relatively mild impact in the Central Texas area, but we at Sustainable Food Center are erring on the side of caution to prevent any market-related tragedy and wish you all a safe weekend.
