I know this is last minute but I am putting together a quick
camping/hiking/mountain biking trip to Big Bend Dec 26-31. I need a
minumum of 10 people confirmed asap to reserve the last remaining
group campsite in the Chisos Basin. THERE IS ONLY ONE GROUP CAMPSITE
LEFT IN CHISOS BASIN!!! I can book it right now with 10 people
minimum for all 5 nights at $30/night which would be $15 per person
total (plus park vehicle entry fees). In order to reserve the site I
have to make payment in full on my credit card so I would need 10
people to confirm with me before I do this. There are no individual
sites remaining in this campground. Being able to reserve the group
site would give us a guaranteed base camp every night, we can leave
camp set up for the duration of the trip, not having to tear down
tents or stand in line for a backcountry permit. Everyone can decide
what they would like to do during the day as a group or as
indi
viduals and meet back up for dinner and hang out in the evening
at camp. There is a mountain bike ride planned in Lajitas on the
27th. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are confirmed so
