Austin Adventure Racers presents the Winter Navigation Practice
Series. With the 07 adventure racing season winding down, the
holidays soon upon us and a chill in the air, now is the time to
sharpen your navigation skills! AAR will be hosting 3 winter
navigation practice meets.

Teams of no less than 2 (or experienced solos only) will navigate a
course using map and compass to locate check points within a
specified area. The course will include approximately 6-8 check
points and cover 3 to 5 miles. Participants will have the option of
plotting points or beginners may use a master to copy from.

The first meet is in preparation for the Lone Star Rogaine

Date: Saturday November 10
Time: 9am – noon

Never navigated or need a refresher? Come at 8:30am for some brief
navigation basics.
