Your favorite adventure race goes BIG! Brought to you by race
directors Debbie Richardson and Mike Drost, the Aqua Terra Expedition
Race is Austin's first 2 day river based adventure race. Teams of two
will paddle kayaks or canoes, portage, trek and navigate to check
points along a scenic and challenging multi-day course down the
Colorado River. The adventure begins on Saturday morning at Mansfield
Dam Park on Lake Travis and finishes Sunday near the Tom Miller Dam in
Austin. In true expedition style, teams will be self-sufficient
carrying everything they need in their boats to survive for the
weekend. The highlight of this race will be the mandatory overnight
base camp where teams can set up tents, refuel, refresh and share the
stories of the day. The excitement continues early Sunday morning with
a mass start. Upon completion of the AT Expedition, racers will have
the satisfaction of knowing they have challenged themselves with one of
the toughest races Texas has to offer. http://www.aquaterrarace.com
