During the recent annual Club Review, the folks in Muskegon were very
optimistic. They had arranged for funding and there was a lot of
community support for this.

Ironically, one of the biggest expenses was shipping. The units are
fiberglass and are built in Germany and shipped to the US for
installation and construction.

I look forward to doing my part to make sure this is "well loved."

I hope that we might even have a USA Luge-sanctioned summer race
there; they do have one in Zwickau, Germany (which where this one is
made I believe).
