Greetings fellow members!

In case you haven't noticed, your Adirondack Luge Club board has
raised the tempo of promotion both for your club but for USA Luge in
general.

We have another opportunity coming up to help promote the club and
generate some new members, as well as see the best luge racing in the
world.

The Viessmann World Cup will be kicking off their 2007-2008 season at
Lake Placid on Friday, Nov 16 and Saturday, Nov 17.

The Adirondack Luge Club is preparing to set up a small booth and
display at the track to promote membership in the club.

If you can find time, on either day, to come up and help man the
booth, we would appreciate it. We're certainly looking to have the
booth there on Saturday, but if we can find the manpower, we'd like to
do it on Friday as well.

Of course, you'll be able to catch some luge racing as well. If
you've never seen the World Cup sliders, you need to. It's so impressive.

PS: ORDA has a $7 Adult Admission for the event. Free admission with
a minimum of one donation of a non-perishable food item per person to
benefit the Lake Placid Ecumenicial Food Pantry. Tickets maybe
purchased at the Olympic Sports Complex Box Office on event days only.
