Last year, Larry Rodman and I had a club wheeled training sled around
the neighborhood. Larry lives on a cul-de-sac, which makes for a
natural outrun... if you can hang on for the first right-hander into
it ;-)

He followed me down in my truck and clocked me at 35 mph.

Over the off-season, I took one of the club's old Latvian pod sleds
(on wheels) that was in pretty rough shape and refurbished it. The
pod was smashed/cracked, the interior was coated with rotting foam
rubber, old duct tape residue, and the kuffins had both been cracked
and repaired. Looks basically like a bad day on the Old Track.

It just needed some TLC and paint.

I should take it for a ride over there; I'd like to see how it
runs/turns.
