Hi Petty fans! <br>I met Kyle last July at
Nazareth. I was there for the Busch race and i also saw the
Truck race and modified race. Well, I'm only 15 years
old, at the time of the race I was 14. My mom bought a
couple pit passes to the garage area at Nazareth. So my
brother and his girlfriend went into the pits on Saturday
morning. I really wanted to go in there bad but we thought
you had to be 18. My brother said there were a lot of
kids in there under 18. Sunday morning (the day of the
Busch race) My mom, dad, brother and his girlfriend and
me went to go into the pits. (we ended up with more
pit passes). Well, we made it through the first
guard, but the second guard to get into the garage asked
how old i was. My mom said i was 14, but they guy
wouldn't let me in. I understood but was very
disappointed/upset because there was someone i wanted to see really
bad but now i wouldn't be able to. My mom and dad
continued into the pits. I stayed out by the fence to the
garage area with my bro. My mom and dad came back with
someone to get me in, but Nick (that's my bro) told a
little fiblet (it wasn't bad) and I got in. Now a lot of
people think that people my age shouldn't be allowed in
the pits..or even let any fans in at all. Not that I
don't disagree but I'm not one that would run all over
the place, get in peoples' way, or bug all the
drivers for there autographs. I stayed with my mom, dad
and brothers the whole time and i got to see and talk
to a lot of cool people. One of the best parts was
on the way out of the garage area we ran into Kyle.
My mom told him who we were and he knew who i was.
LoL! (loooonngg story) But I got to meet Kyle briefly
and he signed my ticket. The neat part was that on
the garage ticket was a picture of Adam's 1999 car as
you should remember Adam place 5th at Nazareth in
'99. :)
