Hi Andrew,
Hope that you had lots of fun in Yellowknife.
Glad to here that you have taken the time to talk with Ryne and express your idea's. Communication is a wonderful thing.
I had the opportunity to speak briefly to the 160 or so runner's at the 11th Annual Damn Tuff Ruff Bluff trail run over the weekend and briefly explained that we are open to membership, idea's, and communication, if we are to survive as an Association. My guarantee is that every member will have the opportunity to help shape this organization, as long as I am involved.
There were lots of past and potential prospects who spoke to me and also like the possible idea of the ACU becoming a closed discussion group, where all members can raise their concerns, and idea's, to help move the Association forward in a positive direction.
Once we receive the members e-mail list from Secretary/Treasurer Michel Careau, we will ask the member to decide on a closed discussion group.
I believe that a closed group will be more productive and it would greatly reduce the junk e-mails from people who sign on and off of different groups. In the eyes of our future sponsors and governing bodies, this idea will also add credibility to the Association.
How do the current subscribes on this list feel about having a closed list for member's only. I do believe that over half on this list are current members, and your opinion is valued.
Please respond by saying :
(a) Good idea
(b) Bad idea
(c) Undecided
(d) Not a member "YET", therefore I would rather not comment.
In any event, the majority of the ACU membership will have the final say.
Thanks for the positive out look.

I am just getting back from being in Yellowknife the last few days!
With everything that is going on and with more and more people
corresponding we are beginning to communicate between ourselves. Ryne
and myself exchanged emails last week and were direct with each other
on were the ACU was going. In the end I think we reached a common
ground and understandin.
We as members should take an active role and communicate with all the
exective members. It is our job to stay on top of the persons elected
or appointed in key positions.
I am here to provide support to the ACU in anyway I can and hope other
members do the same!!
See you in Alberta! ( Lost Souls )
