I have a wind trainer now and it is loud. Is this unit quiet and can a fluid
unit be attached?

Replace the stem with a longer (150mm) one.  Get one with ~ 1 degree rise and
install it upside down.  That will push the bars further back toward your butt
and give your legs more room to angle downward.
